“But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.”
Beloved, the God that we serve is so wonderful and worthy to be imitated. He is full of compassion; He knows what we are going through. If we are going through sorrow or turbulent times, He shows His compassion toward us by giving us the grace to overcome the difficult times (Matthew 9:36).
He is longsuffering or patient toward us; He is able to wait to see us grow to maturity in the midst of all the mistakes we make. He showers us with His mercy, giving us numerous chances to make things right, and He gives us His truth to guide us in our decisions and choices (Psalms 100:5).
Dear beloved, don’t blame God for something that does not go your way or the way you planned it. Praise Him for His compassion, grace, longsuffering, mercy, and truth, and He will give you another opportunity to make things right (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!
Prayer Point: My eternal Father, thank You for Your compassion, grace, longsuffering, mercy, and truth toward me. Please help me to be thankful to You always so that You can develop Your wonderful attributes or virtues in me in Jesus’ name. Amen!
